This is my first blog ever written. It is dedicated to the discussion of High-Tech Marketing. I have worked in the field for over 20 years and have started a few successful technology ventures. I also teach marketing and entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University.

I'm originally from NY City, and have started 10+ companies in industries including: computers, telecommunications, Internet, social networking, medical and Non-Profits for over 28 years. I have been an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University and more recently at San Francisco State Univ., and am currently involved with starting several different companies, including my non-profit foundations. I have held positions including CEO, Chairman, President, CMO, SVP of Marketing, and VP of Product Management. My prior companies include FORE Systems (IPO), AVIDIA (acquired), MediaSite (Acquired), Vinomis Labs, Haley Systems (acquired), Network Equipment Technologies and TalkShoe. I attended Princeton (undergraduate), and Stanford (MBA). My outside interests are varied including writing books and poetry, painting, sailing, skiing (both downhill and cross-country), horseback riding, and travel. I just starting learning the guitar and hope to take flying lessons soon.
